Let’s make Makar Sankranti Special - Til ke Laddu, also known as Sesame Jaggery Laddus. These laddoos are made very quickly.

Til Ke Laddu is a traditional recipe of Rajasthan. Sesame seeds are very healthy.

INGREDIENTS

For Til Ke Laddu
  • Sesame, 500 grams
  • Jaggery, 750 grams
  • Desiccated coconut, 2 tablespoons
  • Cardamom, 2 teaspoons
  • Ghee, 2 tablespoons

INSTRUCTIONS:

For making Til Ke Laddu
  1. First, roast the sesame seeds slightly on the gas and keep them aside.

  3. Then put 2 spoons of ghee in the pan and keep stirring it until it melts well.

  5. After jaggery melts well, add roasted sesame seeds, cardamom powder and Desiccated coconut and mix well. Now we will turn off the gas.

  7. Now make ladoos of the desired size with the mixture of sesame seeds.
