Today we will prepare easy to make and a splendid summer special recipe, named shreekhand.

Shrikand takes only a few minutes of your time and is indeed very delicious too.

For Shreekhand
  • Curd 1.5 kg
  • Sugar powder 2.5 gms.
  • Cream -100 gms.
  • Dry fruit 1/2 bowl (pistachio, almond, raisins)
  • Pinch of saffron
  • Cardamom 1/2 spoon


For making Shreekhand
  1. Take curd and put it into a fresh cloth and knot the cloth and hang it for 8-9 hours.

  3. With this process all sour water from curd removes.

  5. Now it turns out to be a mattha for further process.

  7. Now add sugar into mattha and mix well.

  9. Mix for 7-8 min. Or when sugar dissolves in curd without lumps.

  11. Now add cream, saffron, cardamom and nuts into the mixture.

  13. Mix for another 7-8 min.

  15. Put it into a beautiful utensil and garnish with saffron.

  17. Chill it for better taste.

  19. Now it is ready to eat.

  1. Use sugar powder only.
  2. You can use any essence or flavor if you want.(optional)
