INGREDIENTS

For Green Chilli Pickle (Hari Mirch Ka Achaar)
  • Green chili (less spicy) - 250 grams
  • Mustard seeds 100 grams
  • Rye seeds 50 grams
  • Fennel powder - 2 tbsp
  • Kalonji - 1 tsp
  • Fenugreek seeds - coarsely crushed - 1 tsp
  • Ajwain - 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder - 2 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  • Asafoetida - 1/4 tsp
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Amchoor powder - 1 tsp
  • Mustard oil - 250 grams
  • Vinegar - 1 tsp

INSTRUCTIONS:

For making Green Chilli Pickle (Hari Mirch Ka Achaar)
  1. First wash the green chillies, then make long cuts along them. After that, put these green chilies in a glass bowl.

  3. Then put all the spices ingredients into the chilies, and mix them all well with the help of a spoon so that our spices cover up the chilies well.

  5. Now put a pinch of asafoetida in the hot mustard oil, then pour that oil on the chilies soaked with spices and mix it well once again.

  7. At the end, add one spoon of vinegar and mix it. This way our chili pickle is ready.

  9. Now fill this chili pickle in a clean glass jar. Let it soak for about 7-8 days. You can use it after 7 to 8 days.
