INGREDIENTS

For Corn Sabji
  • Corn (boiled) - 1 Cup
  • Onion - 1 Chopped
  • Ginger - 1/2 Inch Piece
  • Green Chili Paste - 3 To 4 Tsp Grinded
  • Tomato - 1 Chopped
  • Cashews 8 To 10
  • Oil - 1 Tbsp
  • Ghee - 2 Tbsp
  • Asafoetida - 2 Pinch
  • Mustard - 1/2 Tsp
  • Cumin Leaves 1
  • Big Cardamom - 1
  • Cinnamon Piece - Small
  • Black Pepper - 2 Tsp
  • Coriander Powder - 1 Tsp
  • Turmeric Powder -1/2 Tsp
  • Red Chili Powder - 1 Tsp
  • Fennel Powder - 1 Tsp
  • Milk Cream - 1 Tbsp
  • Kasoori Methi - 1 Tsp
  • Salt - As Per Taste
  • Coriander Leaves - 1 Tsp
  • Garam Masala - 1 Tsp
  • Sugar - 1 Tsp

INSTRUCTIONS:

For making Corn Sabji
  1. Put water in a vessel on the gas to boil the corn in it. We will boil the corn till it becomes soft.

  3. Grind onion, ginger, and green chillies in a mixer and keep aside. Then grind tomatoes and cashews and keep them aside.

  5. Put both oil and ghee in a pan on the gas, let them heat up. Then add asafoetida, mustard seeds, cumin seeds and other garam masala spices to it and let the mixture crackle.

  7. After that add onion ginger green chili paste and cook for 3 to 4 minutes. Then add tomato and cashew paste and cook while stirring it well.

  9. After that add all the above dry spices and cook till they leave the oil. After the masala is cooked, add 1-1.5 tablespoons of milk cream and stir it well. If you want, you can also use cream.

  11. Lastly, add Kasoori Methi, add some water and stir it well. Afterwards, add salt as per taste.

  13. After the masala is cooked, add boiled corn to it and cook it for a few minutes. Then add coriander leaves. At the end, add garam masala. To make this sabji even tastier, add a spoonful of sugar to it. Finally, cover the lid and cook for 2 to 3 minutes, then turn off the gas.

  15. Take out the sabji in a serving bowl and garnish it with cashew nuts. Our delicious Dhaba style Corn Sabzi is ready to be served.
