Let’s learn to prepare Ajwain Laddoo, also known as Carom seeds Laddu. This dish is very tasty yet healthy specially for new born baby’s mother.

This dish is specially consumed in winter.

For Ajwain Laddu
  • Carom Seeds Powder, 1 Bowl
  • Desi Ghee, 3-4 TBSP
  • Jaggery, 1 Bowl
  • Lotus Seeds, 1/2 Bowl
  • Almond Shavings, 1/2 bowl
  • Dry Ginger Powder, 1 TBSP
  • Desicaated coconut, 1 Bowl
  • Edible gum, 1/2 Bowl


For making Ajwain Laddu
  1. Add carom seeds in pan and roast it for 10 min.

  3. Now blend it to make carom powder.

  5. Sieve it.

  7. Add desi ghee in a pan and add jaggery in it.

  9. Saute it till jaggery fully melts and then add dry ginger powder in it.

  11. Now add desiccated coconut and edible gum. Mix well.

  13. Add carom powder and almond shavings and mix it.

  15. Now turn off the gas and add lotus seeds in it. Mix well.

  17. Now make little laddus out of it.

  19. Enjoy and eat a laddu daily and become healthier in winters.

  1. Put it in an air tight container for longer use.
